These terms and Apple's EULA

By using Tatwise you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you downloaded Tatwise from the App Store, your license to use the app is Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Standard EULA). These terms add the points specific to Tatwise.

Who can use Tatwise

You must be at least 16 years old to use Tatwise.

What Tatwise is, and isn't

Tatwise turns your tattoo idea into AI-generated design concepts and lets you preview them on a photo of your own skin. Designs are concepts to talk through with a professional tattoo artist, not finished tattoo artwork. Your artist will adapt and redraw a design for your skin and placement.

Previews are illustrations, not an exact representation of how a tattoo will look or heal. Tatwise gives no medical, health or tattooing advice, and makes no claim that a design is safe or suitable to tattoo. Decisions about getting a tattoo, and its result, are between you and your artist.

Your account

Tatwise creates an anonymous account the first time you open the app. You can't link it to an email, Apple or Google account yet, so if you delete the app or switch phones, you start again with a new account and your designs can't be moved.

You can delete your account and all its data at any time in the app: Settings → Delete My Data.

Your content

• You keep the rights you have in your briefs and reference photos. You give us permission to use them only to provide Tatwise to you, including sending them to our AI provider to draw your designs.
• Only add reference photos you have the right to use. Don't upload another artist's tattoo or artwork, or a photo of another person without their consent.
• Don't ask for illegal, hateful or harassing content, sexual content involving minors, content that infringes someone's rights, or images of real people without their consent.
• Our AI provider's safety systems may block some requests. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these terms. Report a design that looks wrong or offensive to support@tatwise.app.

AI designs

As between you and us, you may use the designs you make for your own tattoo and share them. AI-generated images may not be protected by copyright, and similar designs can come up for other people, so we can't promise that a design is unique or that no one else holds rights in something similar.

Free designs and Tatwise Pro

• Tatwise is free to download, and your first designs are free. The app shows how many you have left.
• Tatwise Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, billed by Apple or Google. The price and the period are shown in the app, in your local currency, before you subscribe. Pro has fair-use limits, also shown in the app.
• Unless you cancel, a subscription renews automatically at the end of each period. On the App Store, turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
• Apple and Google handle payments and refunds under their own policies: Apple, Google Play.
• Deleting your data doesn't cancel a subscription. Cancel it first.
• We may change prices and limits for future periods. The app shows them before you buy or renew.

Acceptable use

Don't scrape, copy or resell the service, reverse engineer the app, access our servers other than through the app, or work around generation limits or safety systems.

Disclaimers and liability

Tatwise is provided as it is, to the extent the law allows. We are not responsible for a tattoo you get based on a design or preview, or for how it heals. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live, or liability that can't be limited by law.

Ending

You can stop using Tatwise at any time and delete your data in the app. We may suspend or end access for accounts that break these terms, and we may change or stop the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Turkey, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and can bring a claim there.

Changes

If we change these terms, we update the version and the effective date above and list the change at the bottom of this page.
